Exercise 1
You must know which direction your current is. Either it is into the page or out of the page. The picture below is for into the page. If yours is out of the page than it is the opposite.
So A here is E, C is W, and so on. You should be able to get it. Below is mine and it was into the page
The second part is very easy just plug in the #'s they gave you for I, and R into the equation...
(1.26e-6 * I)/( 2 * pi * r)= answer for part B of # 1
(1.26e-6 * 2.7 A )/( 2* 3.14 * 0.15 m)= 3.60 E-6 T
(1.26e-6 * I)/( 2 * pi * r)= answer for part B of # 1
(1.26e-6 * 2.7 A )/( 2* 3.14 * 0.15 m)= 3.60 E-6 T
Exercise 2
Use the equation below (but make sure your L that they give you is in m and divide it by two to get R)...
so if my L = 25 than my R is... (25/100)/2 = 0.125 m
"I" is given to you also
[(1.26e-6 * I ) / ( 4 * pi * R)] * (sin45 +sin45)= answer to exr. 2
so if my L = 25 than my R is... (25/100)/2 = 0.125 m
"I" is given to you also
[(1.26e-6 * I ) / ( 4 * pi * R)] * (sin45 +sin45)= answer to exr. 2
Exercise 3
You should be okay if you put in something close to what they gave you for BEarth in the two places as you can see from my two answers they are pretty close and don't change much.
