These are some weird people I saw at Walmart on West Tennessee street. I saw both of these people in the store at the same time.
Exercise 1 You must know which direction your current is. Either it is into the page or out of the page. The picture below is for into the page. If yours is out of the page than it is the opposite. So A here is E, C is W, and so on. You should be able to get it. Below is mine and it was into the page The second part is very easy just plug in the #'s they gave you for I, and R into the equation... (1.26e-6 * I)/( 2 * pi * r)= answer for part B of # 1 (1.26e-6 * 2.7 A )/( 2* 3.14 * 0.15 m)= 3.60 E-6 T Exercise 2 Use the equation below (but make sure your L that they give you is in m and divide it by two to get R)... so if my L = 25 than my R is... (25/100)/2 = 0.125 m "I" is given to you also [(1.26e-6 * I ) / ( 4 * pi * R)] * (sin45 +sin45)= answer to exr. 2 Exercise 3 You should be okay if you put in something close to what they gave you for BEarth in the two places as you can see from my two answers they are pretty close and don't change much.
FEEL FREE TO COMMENT IF THIS HELPED YOU AT ALL, THANX Once again the teacher wasted all the class time feeding us useless info and showing us worthless demo's that don't help us get better grades on the Mini Exams. If I wanted to learn problem solving I would have taken a problem solving class. This class is physics, and not "how to solve word problems" class. The WISE method blows ass and is such a time waster. 6/2/10 PHY2054 Lecture6/2/10 PHY2054 in class Mini Exam ReviewToday he went over more spectra and finished the spectra power-point we covered the last lecture from 5/--/10. We had a quiz that I thought was kinda okay but I wish we had a better idea about what will be on them. Are they quizzes on the labs themselves or on the lecture material, or both? I don't know. Below is the audio player for the free audio lecture for today's lecture. Magnetic Field Wow this was a boring lecture. If you didn't come you missed some PRS but that was about it. Way too many demonstrations in this lecture. He covered what I think is chapter 20. All about magnetic fields, etc. I feel like I didn't get anything from today's lecture except the PRS points. Click HERE for the page with all the recordings on it. And as always feel free to comment.
Here is a recording from the CHM2211L lecture on 5/25/10. He covered spectroscopy and all the different stretches. Check out the power point on blackboard The best things in life are free. The recording is up from Wednesday. He went over Mini exam 1, the point structure, everything about the test and covered a little bit of chapter 19 and maybe 20. The link to the page with all the recordings is here. Below is a small sample of the recording from the lecture. Hey guys, I will have the recording from todays test review lecture up tomorrow. I have so much crap to do for Organic 2. I will have it up so don't worry.
As you all know the tests were handed back and the scores sucked. If you look at the way the points are distributed someone could have gotten the average simply by doing the knowns, principle, picture, and the equation. Drawing a picture is worth the same amount of points as the correct answer? What is going on? Feel free to comment anonymously.
